Where is the Club?

The Club's venue is Donnington Hall, Barretts Road, Dunton Green, Kent, TN13 2UN.  There is ample car parking at the rear of the hall.  Please do not park in Barretts Road itself as this is a private road. 

Mission statement

The aim of the Club is to provide facilities for Members to participate in competitive table tennis at local league level and beyond.       

Monday evenings

The Club meets on Monday evenings throughout the year for practice or games from 7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.  Depending on numbers, coaching can be provided for the first hour.  There are 5 tables available and refreshments are provided half-way through the evening.  Table time is split into 15 or 12 minute slots and Members are allocated to tables in as fair a way as possible.

Each Member is allocated a computer rating which goes up or down depending on the result of any challenge matches played on Club Nights.  Ratings are published on the Club's website.

Wednesday evenings

Wednesday evening is the Club's home night for matches in the Bromley League.  In free weeks these evenings are used for coaching. 

Sunday afternoons

The Club also enters teams in the Sevenoaks League, which operates on Sunday afternoons at Donnington Hall.

Summer coaching

During the summer, coaching is provided on occasional Wednesday evenings and about once a month on Sunday afternoons. 

Juniors

Juniors (under 18) are encouraged to compete as individuals in the London Junior Table Tennis Scheme.  In addition, the Club enters teams for selected Cadets (under 15) in the National Cadet League.  Both the LJTTS and NCL are run at weekends and both involve a certain amount of travelling.

Insurance

The Club has in place Civil Liability Insurance covering every Member while playing at Donnington Hall or when representing the Club in team events away from Donnington Hall.  Personal Accident Insurance is NOT provided.

Club Membership

Club Membership is by invitation only and is subject to the completion of a satisfactory probationary period of six weeks

The minimum age limit is 12.
